REGISTRATION / INFORMATION
The academy provides graduates of the MMCI program with an opportunity to focus on an in-depth topic of importance to the profession. Clerks holding the CMC designation may use this IIMC-approved program to earn points toward the IIMC Master Municipal Clerks Academy.
Why Attend???
Clerks who hold the CMC designation are eligible and encouraged to attend.
Registration and Fees
The early registration fee for the Academy postmarked by July 11 is $230.00. The registration fee postmarked after July 11 is $250.00. This fee includes instruction, course materials, one lunch, and refreshment breaks. You are encouraged to register early to take advantage of the lower fee.
A refund, minus a $30 processing fee, will be granted if you cancel by July 11. If you cancel after this date, you will not be eligible for a refund. A full refund will be issued if St. Cloud State University cancels the Academy.

Continuing Education Unit
The Academy offers 1.0 Continuing Education Units (CEUs). One CEU is defined as 10 contact hours of participation in an organized continuing education experience under responsible sponsorship, capable direction, and qualified instruction.
Accommodations
The Academy will be held at the Best Western Hotel & Restaurant located at 1111 Range Street, North Mankato, Minnesota. Please check the website (www.bestwestern.com/prop_24100) for maps and location.
A block of sleeping rooms has been reserved at the Best Western Hotel & Restaurant, North Mankato at the following special rates: $62.99 plus tax for Single, $67.99 plus tax for Double, $72.99 plus tax for Triple, $77.99 plus tax for Quad. Please call the hotel at (507)625-9333 by July 9, 2008, and mention that you are attending the MCFOA Advance Academy to receive the special rate. After this date, reservations will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis at the hotel or neighboring lodging property.
