technology for administrators

This course will discuss technology in educational settings. Recent trends and practices such as the use of Web 2.0 tools, mobile technology (e.g. smart phones, iTouch, iPad) blogs and wikis and social media in education will be covered in a discussion-like settings. Hands-on activities will include but not limit to setting up accounts for blog, wiki, Facebook and LinkedIn and respective scenarios on how to use such accounts as educational administrators and facilitators.

Plamen Miltenoff is Professor at the Center for Information Media at COE. He has terminal degrees from the United States and several other European universities. Prior to his 11 years teaching tenure at SCSU, Dr. Miltenoff had taught and worked at several European educational institutions.
