Medical Billing (6 month program access)
Responsibilities of a Medical Biller
The responsibilities of a medical biller vary from employer to employer. The following are the main responsibilities of a medical biller.
Office bookkeeping is also performed as a daily task. Most offices are equipped with bookkeeping systems and specialized medical billing software.
There are times when the medical biller needs to interact with patients, physicians, and medical staff. This is usually due to the need to discuss insurance prerequisites and authorization details along with explanations of billing activities. Insurances companies may vary in their guidelines.
