Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) Certification Exam
MTA is an entry-level certification that validates the fundamental technology knowledge that students need to start building a career in Microsoft technologies.
It offers 9 initial titles on Developer, IT Infrastructure, and Database high-demand topics and is available in 9 initial languages: English, Spanish, S. Chinese, T. Chinese, Korean, Japanese, German, Russian, Br. Portuguese.
The MTA certification program is designed to offer a solid career foundation and facilitates career exploration. You will gain industry-recognized credentials through these certification exams.
Anyone may take the exam(s) at the SCSU Welcome Center
Testing available from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday- Friday by appointment.

Why Take an MTA Exam?
Testing will take place on the St. Cloud State University campus, exact location to be determined once registration form is received.
Candidates must pass one certification exam in order to earn a MTA credential.

* For Windows 8 users, please be aware there are two versions of Internet Explorer on your device - Metro and Desktop. To use our registration site, you must use the Desktop version of Internet Explorer, and not the Metro version. To start the Desktop version, click on or touch the Desktop tile on the Start screen. Then you will see the Internet Explorer icon in the task bar. This is the Desktop version which should be used for registration. If you are in Internet Explorer and the URL address is at the bottom of the screen, you are in the Metro version, should close it and open the desktop version following the instructions above.
