They are not applicable to any degree programs at SCSU. Understanding and Dismantling Racism
You are invited to join the SCSU Center for Continuing Studies, the Community Anti-Racism Education Initiative (CARE) and the Minnesota Collaborative Anti-Racism Initiative (MCARI) for a one day workshop on dismantling racism in Central Minnesota.
Work with experienced facilitators, explore a common definition of racisim, and examine the practical implications of change for individuals, institutions, organizations and our larger community.

Paralegal Certificate Training - Online

Students will be trained to assist trail attorneys, interview witnesses, investigate complex faxt patterns, research the law, and assist in preparing for courtroom litigation. The instruction is practice-oriented and relates to those areas of the law in which paralegals are in most demand. Students must be prepared to complete a significant amount of homework for each weekly session.

Essentials of Project Management - Level 1
Essentials of Project Management will provide a framework for individuals who want to explore the field of project management and learn the key aspects of managing successful projects. This short course is based on the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) and geared towards providing the audience with the knowledge, skills, and techniques to manage projects in a successful way.
This course offers 16 hours of Project Management education. Project Management education is required to sit for various certification exams such as the CAPM® or PMP®

Dr. Hiral Shah is an Assistant Professor and teaches Engineering Management at St. Cloud State University. Her undergraduate degree is in Mechanical Engineering with Masters’ and Ph.D. in Engineering Management. She has been instructing both fully online and face-to-face classes for more than 5 years. Dr. Shah has more than 6 years of experience in Project Management. She is a Certified Enterprise Integrator (CEI), Engineering Management Certification Professional (EMCP), and a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM). She has been actively involved with the Project Management Institute (PMI) as a subject matter expert and with the Engineering Management Certification International (EMCI) as a professional member for their body of knowledge committee.
Scheduling Using Microsoft Project
Microsoft Project is one of the tools that can be used to manage projects. Project management consists of a group of processes and phases starting from initiation to closure. There are various steps involved in planning, executing, and monitoring and controlling the project.
