sample Programs (FouR- Year Class Schedule)

The courses students need to take depends upon their background when they enter St. Cloud State University. As far as the math is concerned, students may be ready for calculus or may need pre-calculus. Those who need pre-calculus start with Math 115; the others start with Math 221. The decision regarding which math class to take is made through the math placement test (www.stcloudstate.edu/mathplacement).

The first programming course is CSCI 200. Students who have prior programming coursework may be ready to go directly to CSCI 201. Consult with your advisor about this.
