Student Activities

Community Planning Association

The SCSU Community Planning Association was created to help SCSU students broaden their understanding of and appreciation for the community development field. All members are encouraged to explore the diversity of professions and discover the wealth of career opportunities it offers. It will also offer members a chance to network with present and future professionals.

Being a member of the Community Planning Association offers a chance to develop new relationships with present and future community development professionals, people with whom they can discuss shared interests and consult for guidance. Through participation in various activities, students complement their academic studies and work toward their goals in this rewarding field.  Meetings are held every two weeks.  Contact the Program Director for the time and place of meetings.
