The social construction and performance of gender; the 'bureaucratization' of marriage in U.S. immigration policy; pedagogical techniques in communication studies courses; student perceptions of academically dishonest practices.

International Connections:
Dr. Senchea is currently a member of an interdisciplinary research team investigating student perceptions of academic dishonesty in central European, post-communist countries. The team is currently collecting data in Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria, and Russia .
