Yes, we seemed to have such a blast last year that we're doing it again. And we are using the name that Linda Park Fuller used for this festival when she was at SCSU in the 70's; so this festival is actually a resurrection of that wonderful tradition.

This year we will be exploring the sociocultural construction of masculinities through performance. How do race, ethnicity, sexuality, and masculinity influence each other and how can these identities be refigured to serve social justice?

We are VERY excited to be hosting nationally acclaimed performance artists whose artistic and scholarly work explores how masculinity and racial/ethnic identities interact . We invite any/all performances, presentations, solo, and group to assist in this discussion, which includes partying with us up here in da nort (proper phonetic spelling) country. Faculty are invited to come with or without students.

Details:

•  $40 registration fee includes continental breakfasts, banquet lunch, and pizza bash.
•  30-45 minute performances, either solo or group. Any/all configurations, styles, formats welcome.
•  Let us know by late January.
