- Bruce Pearson, '64, music, is author of 17 music instructional titles and one of the most widely used music instruction series, which is available in English, Chinese, Spanish and Italian.
- English professor Bill Meissner has published seven books, including the University of Notre Dame Press title "Spirits in the Grass."
- Music professors Catherine Verrilli, soprano; Melissa Krause, flutist; and Terry Vermillion, percussionist, perform as Trio Lorca. Their work includes a performance at Carnegie Hall.
