Graduate Students Experience the Real World!

Steven LarsonSeveral MBA, MSIA, & SFS students recently had the opportunity to hear from the NSA Texas Director of Information Assurance and SCSU Alumnus, Dr. Steven C. "Swede" Larson. During his visit to campus, Dr. Larson discussed the growing need for cyber security professionals, traditional vs. non-kinetic warfare, and vulnerability of infrastructure among other topics.

As part of a class tour, serval MSIA students had the opportunity to tour RSM US LLP (formerly McGladrey LLP) in downtown Minneapolis. RSM US LLP is a leading provider or audit, tax, and consulting services focused on the middle market. Several executives including Principal Loras Even spoke to the group about the need for security in the consulting world.
