Enrollment Status

Student status will apply to enrolled SCSU students carrying at least 3 undergraduate or 3 graduate credits each semester.  Staff/Faculty status will apply to families where at least one supporting parent is employed at SCSU.  Student status will preempt staff/faculty status when one supporting parent maintains full-time SCSU enrollment (12 undergraduate or 6 graduate credits each semester).  Enrollment status will determine LCCC fees and family admittance.

Openings

As openings in the Center occur, enrollment of a child in one of the age groups is determined by the following priority criteria:

  1. Internal movement – moving a child from a younger group to older group on the basis of child’s age, individual readiness, and available openings.
  2. Child of Center staff member.
  3. Previously enrolled child returning from an approved leave of absence (see Leave of Absence policy).
  4. Sibling of a child currently enrolled (application form must be submitted).
  5. Center waiting list.

Application for WAITING LIST

Waiting lists are maintained in those age groups in which no openings are currently available.  Applications are placed on the waiting list upon receipt.  Applications are dated when received and families are contacted when openings are available according to their dated placement on the waiting list.
