The Association for the Education of Young Children (AEYC) advocates for young children. It is a student chapter of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) whose mission is to educate and support adults who educate and care for young children, so all may develop to their fullest potential.

Meetings are held once a month. Time and place to be announced. Watch for postings on the AEYC bulletin board located in the North hallway of the Education Building.

If you are interested in joining or would like more information, please contact the advisor, student president, or student council member above. You can also visit them at their office located in the Education Building in room B109.

AEYC participates in volunteer work with SCSU's Lindgren Child Care Center, the Salvation Army and Anna Marie's Women's Shelter. The organization also organizes monthly Scholastic Book Club orders.
