Dr. Connor’s interest in marriage and family therapy grew from an appreciation of the relational view of problems that presented to therapy. She has worked clinically with individuals, families, children, and couples in a variety of settings, including a community mental health center, a hospital outpatient clinic, family-based services, a reproductive medicine center, and currently she provides services at a private practice. She has two primary research projects, one, is exploring the longitudinal outcomes of children conceived through assisted reproductive technologies (website). The second in the Somali Women’s Initiative for Sexual Health, in collaboration with the University of Minnesota and Midwest Community Development, Inc.
