SCSU Triathletes Honored by Department of Campus Involvement

The SCSU Triathletes club received the Outstanding Collaboration Award from the Department of Campus Involvement recently. This is the second year in a row that the relatively new club on campus has won the award. 

The Award is given to a club on campus that shows initiative working with other organizations on or off campus, and the Triathletes won the award in large part due to their annual Indoor Triathlon event.

"SCSU Triathletes won this award because we worked with the community, campus, and Campus Rereation to put on an awesome indoor triathlon this year," said Dalton Scott, SCSU Triathletes club president. 

There were over 140 nominations this year for 14 student awards, and the over 200 student clubs on campus are eligible for awards.

Next year, the SCSU Triathletes will be holding another Indoor Triathlon near the end of March, and encourage all SCSU students to participate.
