Basketball Camps
SCSU BOYS BASKETBALL TEAM CAMP
Session One: June 7-8, 2008
Session Two: July 12-13, 2008
Session Three: July 15, 2008
General Information:
This camp will give high school players in grades 8-12 (2008-2009 school year) the opportunity to play as a team in a top tournament atmosphere. St. Cloud State University offers a prime location to run such a tournament. The camp will take place at Halenbeck Hall Main Gym and Fieldhouse. Teams are encouraged to bring their high school coach with them. Minnesota State High School League rules now state that teams can be coached by their high school coaches during the summer.
Session One & Two:
Teams will check-in at Halenbeck Hall one hour before their first scheduled game on Saturday. There will be a varsity division and a junior varsity division. Teams will play pool play on Saturday and then be placed into a tournament bracket on Sunday. All teams will play a minimum of five games. Please insure that there is enough players on the team roster as each team may play as many as five games in one day.
Session Three:
Teams will check-in at Halenbeck Hall one hour before their first scheduled game on Tuesday. All teams will receive three games.
An athletic trainer will be available at all times during the tournament.
Registration Information:
There is a limit to the number of teams allowed in each camp so sign up early.
Please register as a team. Individuals registering without a team will not be accepted. A $25 service charge will be withheld on all refunds. Upon completion of the application form a waiver form will be sent out to the team contact that each player’s parents or guardians must sign or the player will not be eligible to participate in the Team Camp.

Team Fees:
Session One & Two: Team Fee $250.00
Session Three: Team Fee $160.00
The fee covers the cost of the entire team for one session regardless of the number of players. However, a maximum of twelve individual awards will be given to the first place team. This fee does not include meals or lodging. Lodging and meals are not available on campus. If you need phone numbers for local hotels contact the sport camp office. Certified athletic trainers will be on site for all sessions.
