      Girls in Action

giaOften we spend excessive amounts of time focusing on the things we do not do well that we lose sight of the basic fact that we are usually all right just as we are.  Girls in Action ’s balanced environment is designed to teach individuals to be strong and confident by making healthy choices throughout life.  Instead of depending on others for approval we will focus on self worth and the things we value.

      • Each Saturday is packed with activities and has a ratio of 6 students to 1 counselor.
      • A variety of skilled and experienced counselors will be leading the activities and include full-time staff and professional staff from SCSU.

        Quotes from past participants:
“I really liked the fact that I could be myself at this program.”
“I got to do things I normally would not have the opportunity to do!”
