Learn to skate

Classes

Beginning Learn to Skate
Learn to Skate forward, backward, basic turns, and stopping. Begin to learn the language of skating. One Hour session includes 45 minute lesson and practice time.

7 Week Session: Mondays 11am-Noon
Session I: January 14-February 25
Session II: March 10-April 21

Hockey Basics & Conditioning
Learn to Skate and the basics of hockey. Learn forward & backward skating, stopping, turns, agility and balance drills. No sticks necessary for first few weeks. Extend your skating practice by staying for Open Session. One hour.

7 Week Session: Wednesdays 11am-Noon
Session I: January 16-February 27
Session II: March 12-April 23

Open Freestyle
Freestyle session for skaters with freestyle and/or dance experience. You must have passed USFS Adult 4, Basic Skills 8, or ISI Delta to skate on this session. One hour.

Mondays 7am-8am
January 14-April 28

Open Moves in the Field & Dance
Open practice session for skaters with dance experience. You must have passed USFS Adult 4, Basic 8, or ISI Delta to skate on this session. There will be no jumps allowed on this session. Dance music will be available. One hour.

Thursdays 6am-7am
January 17-April 24

Coffee Club
Meet your friends for skating, coffee, mini lessons in figure skating freestyle, moves-in-the-field, and ice dance. Sip the coffee of the week, for sale at rink side by Trial's End Coffee. Stay for Open Session immediately following for an extended session. One hour.

7 Week Session: Thursdays 11am-Noon
Session I: January 17-February 28
Session II: March 13-April 24

Students are responsible to provide skates. Rental of some sizes is available on site for $2.00/session

All classes taught by coach rated with Professional Skaters Association
