Husky Adventures
Husky Adventures is the trips and clinics arm of Outdoor Endeavors. The purpose of this program is to develop programs and opportunities for SCSU students to travel and receive instruction in specific outdoor disciplines. The overall goal is to keep the price down and provide diverse program offering, experiences and training. Everyone must pre-register for all trips and clinics and attend pre-trip meetings. Outdoor Endeavors operates programs under Special Use Permits where required. We believe that having a solid relationship with land management agencies protects natural resources and to ensure the future of outdoor recreation programs at these locations. We currently have Special Use Permit status with the following land management agencies:
Apostle Islands National Lakeshore
St. Croix National Scenic Riverway
Insterstate State Park

POLICIES
Cancellations happen. A tremendous amount of time and energy goes into planning Outdoor Endeavors programs. That said, Outdoor Endeavors has established the following cancellation policy:
If you cancel > 20 days prior to the trip/clinic you will get a 100% refund
If you cancel between 20 & 10 days prior to the trip/clinic you will get a 50% refund
If you cancel <10 days prior to the trip/clinic you will not get a refund
All refunds are issued through the SCSU Business Office and can take 2-3 days to process. All refunds require a Refund Request Form and will not be honored unless that form is filled out. There are no cash refunds or credits given towards future trips/clinics. There is a $25 processing fee that will be deducted from your refund to offset the cost of the transaction.
If a trip/clinic is cancelled by Outdoor Endeavors, a full refund will be issued with no cancellation fee.

2008 Freshman Wilderness Experience - Apostle Islands Sea Kayaking Trip
Outdoor Endeavors wants to be the first in welcoming you to St. Cloud State University! We are offering a unique opportunity for incoming freshman to explore the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore by sea kayak! The trip will give adventurous freshman the opportunity to meet new classmates, learn new skills, explore strategies for success and travel in an incredible environment! Space is limited to 8 participants and pre-registration is required.

2008 Husky Adventure Camps
Outdoor Endeavors has spent the winter planning for the summer. As part of our summer programming, we are again offering exceptional opportunities for local youth to participate in our Husky Adventure Camps. These programs range from daycamps to parent & child camps to adventure skill camps. Each camp is structured for children to have a great learning experience in the outdoors. These camps fill quickly so do not hesitate in getting your child registered. The flier and registration form can be found below.
Adventure Daycamp (Ages 9-12) - Participants will have the opportunity to try diverse outdoor education activities throughout the week without the commitment of an overnight trip. Activities include outdoor living skills, fishing, canoeing, kayaking and rock climbing in a environment focused on success. Cost includes lunch and snacks every day. Drop off at 8:30 am and pick up by 5:00pm. Space is limited to 12 participants.
Session III - Monday 7/28/08 to Friday 8/1/08

2009 10,000 Islands Sea Kayaking Trip
2009 10,000 Islands Sea Kayaking Trip 1/3/09-1/10/09
Outdoor Endeavors recently returned from our first ever 10, 000 Islands Sea Kayaking Trip in Southwest Florida. It was an incredible trip which took us 45 miles through mangroves islands and the Gulf of Mexico. It was a great trip that we will sponsor again during early January in 2009. Do not miss this trip next year! It will be an annual tradition for us which we hope you will take part in.
