Husky Adventures
Husky Adventures is the trips and clinics arm of Outdoor Endeavors. The purpose of this program is to develop programs and opportunities for SCSU students to travel and receive instruction in specific outdoor disciplines. The overall goal is to keep the price down and provide diverse program offering, experiences and training. Everyone must pre-register for all trips and clinics and attend pre-trip meetings. Contact Ivan Bartha for more information at (320) 308-6691. Click Here to see photos from some of our programs!
Outdoor Endeavors operates programs under Special Use Permits where required. We currently have Special Use Permit status with the following land management agencies:

Insterstate State Park
Apostle Islands National Lakeshore
St. Croix National Scenic Riverway
All trips, clinics & workshops require pre-registration! Please contact Outdoor Endeavors for more information on how to register!
POLICIES
Cancellations happen. A tremendous amount of time and energy goes into planning Outdoor Endeavors programs. That said, Outdoor Endeavors has established the following cancellation policy:
If you cancel > 20 days prior to the trip/clinic you will get a 100% refund
If you cancel between 20 & 10 days prior to the trip/clinic you will get a 50% refund
If you cancel <10 days prior to the trip/clinic you will not get a refund
All refunds are issued through the SCSU Business Office and can take 2-3 days to process. All refunds require a Refund Request Form and will not be honored unless that form is filled out. There are no cash refunds or credits given towards future trips/clinics. There is a $25 processing fee that will be deducted from your refund to offset the cost of the transaction.
If a trip/clinic is cancelled by Outdoor Endeavors, a full refund will be issued with no cancellation fee.

FRESHMAN WILDERNESS ORIENTATION - APOSTLE ISLANDS SEA KAYAKING

We believe that coming to college is an extremely important decision. We also believe that many incoming students are aprehensive about who they will meet, what resources are available and what is in store for the first year. Outdoor Endeavors takes away some of that guesswork by connecting students through adventure activities. The Freshman Wilderness Orientation helps connect new students with those later on in their college career. It also provides a unique opportunity for interaction with faculty and staff assisting on the trip. Using sea kayaking as our method of travel, we can work as a group, get to know each other and help alleviate some of the anxiety associated with the first year of college.
Cost is $225 perperson and includes everything except personal clothing.
Please contact Ivan Bartha for more information regarding this course.
