Learn to Kayak! Right side up!

SCSU Outdoor Endeavors is an American Canoe Association (ACA) Paddle America Club and offers the areas only ACA instructional programs.  If you have ever wanted to learn the ins & outs, literally, of kayaking consider signing up for one of our instructional programs.  It is a great time to play in the pool, learn a new skill and meet other people that are passionate about paddlesports.

Quickstart Your Kayak - Spring Semester 2013
This is an introductory clinic that focuses on kayak safety, skill development and stroke refinement.  It is a great course for anyone with or without kayaking experience.

Kayak Rolling Clinic - Spring Semester 2013
What do I do if I flip my kayak?  Well, come to our rolling clinic to learn a variety of techniques for kayak self rescue.  We keep the class small to offer as much attention to participants as possible.  Swim goggles and nose plugs are recommended.

• 4/29/13 6:00pm to 7:30pm

Cost for either clinic is $25 per person.  Outdoor Endeavors provides all the equipment, instructors and fun!  More details about all the instructional paddling programs we offer can be found at the website link!

Open Kayaking - Spring Semester 2013
Have some experience kayaking?  Want to tune up some skills?  Or are you just looking for a little bit of practice time before the kayaking season unfolds?  Open Kayaking is a great way to get on the water, get some tips from seasoned paddlers and take advantage of paddling in the Halenbeck Hall Pool!

Cost for Open Kayaking is $10 per person.  The fee includes use of Outdoor Endeavors equipment and impromptu instruction!
