2013 Lake George Season Passes now available!!!

SCSU Outdoor Endeavors has a partnership with the City of St. Cloud & St. Cloud Rotary to operate the Lake George Boathouse at Eastman Park in downtown St. Cloud.  We provide paddleboat, canoe & stand up paddleboard rentals from Memorial Day to Labor Day.  The program has been an outstanding success the last three years and has provided a service that would have otherwise been eliminated.  It has created new jobs & leadership opportunities for our student employees, provided a venue for instructional kayaking & canoe programs along with enhancing recreation opportunities for our community.  It has been a very innovative and rewarding process that we are grateful for and the leadership we have been charged with.

This year we are offering a great opportunity to support the program through the sale of Lake George Boathouse Season Passes. At $25 per season pass, it is a value and would make a great gift for someone who has enjoyed seeing all the hard work that has gone into the restoration of Lake George & Eastman Park.

The season pass is $25 and can be purchased at SCSU Outdoor Endeavors, located in the Student Recreation Center across from the climbing wall.  The pass is valid for the passholder and one guest during open hours and includes use of paddleboats, canoes & stand up paddleboards.  Passes are not transferable.  More information about the Lake George Boathouse can be found at: http://www.lakegeorgeboathouse.org/
