jacksonlogoJackson Kayaks & Outdoor Endeavors Partner Up!

Support of college & university outdoor programs is not possible without the involvement of the manufacturers & distributors of outdoor equipment we use everyday.  Jackson Kayak has been a huge supporter of Outdoor Endeavors and has made us a standard dealer for their product line.  Jackson Kayak manufacturers some of the finest whitewater kayaks we have ever seen and we feel their support helps us be better at what we do.  Just as a carpenter needs good tools for their work, outdoor education programs need good equipment for their participants.  For every Jackson Kayak sold through Outdoor Endeavors a portion of that sale goes back to supporting paddle sports instruction, education and boating safety.  Give us a call if you would like to demo a new Jackson Kayak or learn more about whitewater boating in the region.   http://www.jacksonkayak.com

NEW FOR 2007-2008!
New to the Rental Resource Center are four Wilderness System Tempest touring kayaks. We have two for smaller framed paddlers and two for average to larger paddlers. Additionally, we have added one Wilderness System North Star tandem kayak which is designed for two paddlers and gear. These sea kayaks are designed to be responsive in open water and are ideal for extended trips. Keep in mind these are not beginner boats and require more advance skills and practice. COST $20 per day, $40 per weekend, $100 per week. All require a $75 deposit.

Also, The Student Government Association recently funded the Outdoor Endeavors for new boating equipment to enhance our program. We have purchased a new canoe trailer, 10 new canoes and 6 sea kayaks. This addition brings our boat fleet to 24 canoes, 6 recreational kayaks, 8 sit on top kayaks, 6 sea kayaks, 2 kevlar canoes, along with our 10 Jackson whitewater kayaks.
