*Graduate Assistant - Rental Resource Center 2008
The Office of Sport Facilities & Campus Recreation seeks a highly motivated and organized graduate assistant to oversee the day to day operation of the region's only full service outdoor equipment rental center. The position requires an individual with leadership background and experience grounded in outdoor recreation equipment, outdoor education instruction, staff training, customer service and organization of special events.

The Office of Sport Facilities & Campus Recreation seek a highly motivated and organized graduate assistant to oversee the day to day operation of a 2100 square foot indoor climbing facility, instructional programs, special events and group reservations. This position requires an individual with leadership background and experience in technical climbing skills, instructional climbing programs, staff training, customer service and organization of special events.

OE needs a mechanically sound bike mechanic to maintain the Yellow Bike Program and do customer bike repairs and service. In the off season, this position would be responsible for offering ski/snowboard waxing services & clinics. Available Summer and Fall 2006

Experience working in an outdoor setting is highly desirable along with experience repairing equipment, solid customer service, climbing wall skills and the ability to be flexible and adaptable on a daily basis. Husky Challenge Course
* Challenge Course Facilitators
These are on-call positions working with outside groups desiring team building and challenge education experiences. Experience is required for these positions along with solid communications skills, organizational ability and a sincere desire to help groups reach their maximum potential. Currently, we are looking to hire 2-3 part-time, seasonal (May-October) staff as facilitators and/or student supervisors for the Husky Challenge Course. These individuals must enjoy working with groups and have the ability to give meaning to the challenge course experience! It really takes someone with self-determination, a willingness to master technical skills along with a gregarious nature that makes the experience worthwhile.

SCSU Climbing Wall Volunteers
*Climbing Wall Attendants & Routsetters
Become a certified belayer for the SCSU Climbing Wall. Training
is provided at our Belaying Clinics. We are always looking for volunteers that enjoy working at the wall and being part of our operation. If you have vertical skills, we are in constant need of routesetters and instructors.

Intramurals
Intramural Sports is looking for a few qualified individuals to become Sport Officials for our program.
Current officiating positions that are available include: Flag Football, Basketball, Soccer, Floor Hockey, Softball, Volleyball, Ice Hockey, Broomball, Boot Hockey and Kickball so if you have an interest in becoming an official, please contact the Intramural Sports office at 308-3923. (No certifications required) You will be trained in a series of officiating clinics prior to starting your career as an Intramural Sports Official.
