"be your own Wellness coach"- Live Well for Life
Create Change, Find Balance, and Achieve Wellness Our journey to wellness will include eating well, sleeping well, exercising well, breathing well, and laughing well! Participants of both Sections will schedule 2-3 one on one sessions with Wellness Coach to discuss goals and progress throughout the program. These sessions will be 20-30 minutes in length and will focus on lifestyle modification tips and techniques.
Session Outline:
- Life Coaching Aspect: Behavioral Change, Goal Setting, Getting Organized
- Fitness Component: Learning how to incorporate proper strength training, flexibility, and cardio into our daily lifestyles
- Nutrition Makeover: Design your fridge - Healthy Food Fest on last session
5-Week Program
Session I: Low Intensity
The low intensity section is geared toward people who may have health related issues with high intensity exercise. Whether it be an injury, or any other condition, this program will be more personalized and modified to fit the individual needs of the participants to guarantee an effective workout.
Dates: Tuesday Nights from
October 2nd - October 30th
Time: 7 p.m. - 8 p.m
Session 2: High Intensity
The high intensity section is for those who want a good fast paced, kick in the butt work out. It will not be overly advanced, so a person at any fitness level can join, but be prepared for a challenge. We will go hard and encourage you to push your limits in class to give you the best work out possible.
Dates: Thursday Nights from October 4th
- November 1st
Time: 7 p.m. - 8 p.m

Resistance band
Food log/exercise log
5 fitness/educational classes
2-3 one on one wellness counseling sessions
Participants are encouraged to join SCSU On The Move Incentive Program as a
part of their program.
Requirements: Completed health forms that will be sent prior to the first class
session
Pedometer: Purchase quality pedometer to track steps (May purchase one through
SCSU on the Move Incentive Program)
