We offer a variety of massages including Swedish, acupressure, deep tissue/sports, lymphatic and reflexology. Our massage therapists specialize in full body relaxation, pressure point therapy, chair massage and hot stone therapy.

 

How does energy therapy work?

Cutting edge science is finally able to observe what mystics have seen for thousands of years.  Our physical bodies are a dense collection of waves/particles of energy which vibrate at particular frequencies.  Our physical body manifests, or grows, on “top” of a series of subtler bodies of energy.  These bodies make up our personality (thoughts, emotions, beliefs, etc.) and are called the Human Energy Field (HEF, or commonly known as the aura).  If these bodies of energy, or fields of energy, are distorted, there will be problems in our lives whether they are physical illness, relationship struggles, career problems, etc.  Through his training, Nathan is able to regulate his HEF, so as to shift the distortions within his client’s energy field.  This way, healing can take place on all levels:  physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. 

Reiki Massage

We have a new massage modality available for you!  It's called Reiki (RAY-kee) massage and it has all the traditional make-up of a massage like the use of massage cream on the skin while applying Swedish, deep tissue, and reflexology massage techniques to relax the muscles.  However, during the massage, Reiki, which is a type of energy healing modality, is used to provide deeper relaxation of the body as well as the mind and spirit.  Nathan Jacobson, our professional Oshune Reiki Master and Energy Therapist, offers Reiki Massage and he is extremely sensitive to the needs of your mind, body and spirit.  A session with him will promote health and well-being in your life during this stressful time as the semester peaks and reaches its end!

On-Site Chair Massages

“Are you interested in increasing the health of your employees? We at the SCSU Campus Massage are! Campus recreation is now offering on site chair massage that can be done at your place of business. Treat your workers to the gift of massage. A minimum of one hour is required for bringing the service to you. Split the time up as you wish. We can do 10 minute massages for 6 or 15 minute for 4 individuals)

Facial Massages(Men & Women)

This anti-aging massage incorporates the ultimate relaxing massage of the hands, arms, shoulders, face, neck and head. Product will be used to remove the dead cells, leaving you with a glowing and soft skin. Also includes massage of the feet. Length (1 hour)

Ann Godfrey

Andrea Mader

Andrea is a 2002 graduate of the Arizona School of Massage Therapy in Tempe Arizona.  With over five years of experience she has had the opportunity to work in a chiropractic clinic a salon and an Aveda destination spa.  She is currently attending St. Cloud State to study Gerontology and Sociology so she can someday work with older adults.  Andrea specializes in Trigger Point Therapy, Cranial Sacral Therapy, Swedish, Hot stone massage, and Reflexology. 

Numnum Choden

Numnum Choden was trained in Thimphu, Bhutan where she was employed as a therapist in a spa. Numnum specializes in relaxing asian massage, invigorating asian body massage, rejuvenation facial massage and threading (eyebrow shaping).

What is "Threading?"  An ancient method of hair removal with origins in Arabia and South Asia. It is very delicate procedure, making it suitable for even the most sensitive skin. The art of threading may be seen in the gentle and precise twisting of a length of cotton thread which is twisted along the hairs which are to be removed. The twisting action of the thread traps the hair and lifts it out of the follicle. Threading is more effective and less painful than tweezing; hair re-growth becomes finer and more sparse after regular treatments; and the top layers of skin are not peeled or traumatized in the process.

NATHAN JACOBSON

Nathan is almost finished with double major in Psychology and Music and plans to graduate this spring!  For the last four years he has been pursuing his ideal career as a Brennan Science Healer and hopefully teacher of the Brennan Science of Healing.  Nathan’s energy therapy sessions will utilize this model of health and healing in addition to the subtle, calming energies of Reiki.  He has been practicing Reiki (RAY-kee) for four years as well and it has brought many valuable life changes and energy releases for him.  He hopes that you might consider reaping the benefits which energy healing has to offer. 

Nathan only offers 60 or 90 minute sessions for energy therapy.  30, 60, and 90 minute appointments can be made for Reiki massage.

Shari Mleczewski

Shari Mleczewski--M.Ed., C.M.T—is a graduate and teacher at Tao Institute, integrating ancient massage styles and still point acupressure based on client assessment.  Each session, then, is catered to the individual client’s needs and takes into account one’s medical history and current symptoms/complaints, incorporating TCM theory for a holistic approach to the body-mind.  Disrobing is unnecessary, and Self-Help is always offered at the end of each session, empowering clients in their path to optimal well-being.

Cancellation Policy
As a courtesy, we require 24 hours notice for any cancellations to ensure that the missed appointment time can be filled.  All missed appointment fees are subject to a fee. Thank you for your co-operation. 
No-Shows
Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a "no-show". They will be charged for their "missed" appointment and future service will be denied until payment is made.
Late Appointments
Arriving late will simply limit the time for your treatment, this lessening the effectiveness and your enjoyment. You will be charged for your full session. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early for your scheduled appointment.
Payment must be made at time of appointment. Cash and checks accepted – no credit cards.
Gift Certificates will not be redeemed after 1 year or expiration date noted.
