21 DAYS OF FITNESS INCENTIVE PROGRAM • MARCH 20-MAY 3
Win great prizes for working out with us! FREE for members. All participants who complete 21 workouts are eligible for a chance to win a BIKE donated from Viking Coke and a Quarks Gift Basket (drawing will be held on May 3 following the last GX class). Four ways to earn signatures include; receive 1 signature after each Group Exercise Class and 2 signatures for attending a Cycling Class (cannot exceed 3 Cycling Classes for double signatures), earn up to 3 signatures a week by completing Vital 11 workouts in the Fitness Center, and earn a signature for getting your name on the Fitness Center Leaderboard. Earn a FREE Quarks American Bento meal after completing 10 signatures and a t-shirt after completing 21.
Group Exercise Descriptions
Cycle ‘N’ Abs: Cycle and abs will consist of 30 minutes on the bike followed by a great ab workout. Cycling will work on your strength, endurance, and help tone your body. You do not need to be a pro biker to participate in this class, all skill levels are welcome. This is a wonderful stress reliever and workout, be ready to sweat!
Cycle ‘N’ Yoga: Looking to torch a ton of calories in a short period of time? If so, indoor cycling is your new best friend. Pedal your way through a high intensity sprint, hill and interval cycling workout as we hit the bike for some power based training. Thirty minute ride followed by twenty minutes of Yoga and foam rolling.
Cycle ‘N’ Strength: This class is an extreme whole body workout that will get your blood pumping.Half the time spent on the bike and the other half on the floor. Toning and sculpting those arms is as important as the legs, and this is the class to do it.
Sweat & Tread: This 45 minute class will motivate you to start your 5k training! Take it inside for a heart pumping, muscle toning mash up that will make you look forward to running. You will complete rounds on the treadmill followed by a strength circuit.
Barre: This class is designed to effectively strengthen, tone and balance the entire body. It is suited for people of all ages and fitness levels. This low-impact workout is great for getting your heart rate up without putting a lot of stress on the body. It will improve your balance and stability, as well as, shape and sculpt muscles in your body.
Express Abs: What do we want?! “Abs!” When do we want them?! “Now!” We know what you want, 25 minutes packed to the max with core-strengthening moves. Come to this class ready to work and you won’t leave disappointed.
Muscle Pump: This weightlifting class causes you to dig deep and push past your limits. The moves are choreographed to music, but don’t let the synchronization fool you, this muscle-fatiguing class works the entire body, torches calories, and keeps your heart pumping. The repetitive, progressive style of Muscle Pump makes tracking progress and seeing gains clear and keeps you coming back for more!
R.I.P.P.E.D.™: The One Stop Body ShopTM is a total body, plateau-proof fitness formula that pushes your cardio into high gear and keeps your body guessing. Named for the different components of the workout, R.I.P.P.E.D. gives you Resistance, Intervals, Power, Plyometrics, and Endurance, while helping you attain and maintain your physique!
Zumba™: Skip the workout – join the party! Inspired by Latin music, Zumba moves, grooves, and tones your entire body. This killer core workout gets your heart pumping and spices up your hour at the gym. All fitness levels invited!
Step ‘N’ Sculpt: Mix up your cardio routine to challenge your body and mind! Step alternates between choreographed cardio sessions and intensive muscle conditioning, providing a total-body workout.
Full-body Conditioning: You’ll experience sports training moves for cardiovascular fitness, along with upper and lower body conditioning exercises for building strength. Alternate between moderate, and high intensity strength, cardio, and power exercises. This class also incorporates agility drills and circuit training for the ultimate workout!
Yoga: Exhilarate your body and mind with Yoga. Yoga instruction will emphasize safe alignment in postures, while enhancing whole-body strength, flexibility and balance. Classes include centering, warm-ups, sun salutations, standing and seated poses, and relaxation.
Power Yoga: Take your yoga practice to another level! While moving through pose sequences to help build even more strength, get ready to break a sweat. While a bit more strenuous than a regular yoga, this class remains at a slow to moderate pace with different modifications allowing for a variety of workout intensities.
