. Group Fitness
Campus Recreation offers a full schedule of classes taught by certified
instructors. There are two sessions each semester and passes are available
for 7 week schedules.

Fall Session 2 (Oct. 26 - Dec. 13)
Win Great Stuff For Moving! - 21 Days of Fitness
Mon. Oct. 26th - Friday December 11th, 2009
Form a new habit by attending 21 Group Fitness classes. FREE to those with a group fitness pass.
Group Fitness Pass Fees:
Students: 7-week pass - $15.00 (That's right, unlimited classes for only $15.00)
Faculty/Staff: 7-week pass - $30.00
Directions:
1. Attend 21 Group Fitness Classes.
2. Have instructor sign your Incentive Card after each class.
3. Attend 10 classes and receive either a SCSU Headband or ID Holder
4. Attend 21 classes and receive a SCSU Group Fitness T-Shirt! (While supplies last)
**All cards must be completed by Friday Dec. 11th to receive prizes. T-Shirts, Headbands, and ID Holders are available on a first come, first serve basis.
* Drawing will be held after the last class.
* Only ONE card per participant.

Yoga- This class meets you at your abilities offering expanded body awareness, flexibility, breathing, balance, posture and unity. You can challenge yourself as advanced poses will be taught as an option or come to relax with more beginning postures.
Fee Information:
· $50.00 for unlimited classes
· Day pass: $5.00
· Payment due the first day of class (write checks out to SCSU)

· Please bring your own mat, dress comfortably and show up to each class 10 minutes early for a guaranteed slot, space is limited.
**NOTICE: A separate fee applies to Rec Wellness classes; they are not included in the Group Fitness pass or combo pass.

Group Fitness Instructor Training
This is an opportunity to become SCSU certified as a Group Fitness Instructor. Components of the comprehensive weekend warrior course includes: anatomy, counting & cueing, class format, and choreography. Trainees will be prepared to teach Hi/Lo impact cardio, step, aqua, body sculpt, cardio kick, yoga, Pilates, cycle, stability ball, BOSU, and many other new trends in fitness. At the completion of the class SCSU participants will have an opportunity to try out to join the SCSU Group Fitness team.*Full attendance is mandatory.
