Now Reserving Tennis Courts

Love playing Tennis but never have a place to play? Now instead of trying to play in the snow or find an open court you can reserve a court right on campus in the Halenbeck Hall Fieldhouse. You are welcome to reserve a court Monday-Friday starting on January 18th. The court will be up in the morning and taken down around 6 pm before Intramurals begin. The guidelines are as follows: 

***Only SCSU Students or Faculty/Staff or Community Members may reserve a court***

Court Reservations:

Courts can only be reserved for 1 hour per group for singles and doubles activities.

Reservation Policy:

Courts may be reserved 1 Day in advance or on the same day of activity.  Reservations may be made in person or by calling Guest Services at 320-308-3325.

Tennis Court:  Monday-Friday (6am-6pm).

Racquetball Courts:  During Building Hours.

To Claim a Court:

Ø  Times available for reservation will be at Guest Services.

Ø  Prior to claiming a court, all players must check in at the Fieldhouse Desk/Guest Services

Ø  Reservation must be checked off

Ø  Failure to check-in may result in forfeiture of court.

Ø  Courts not claimed within 10 minutes after the reserved time, may then be claimed by someone else.

Ø  When claiming a court in use, please wait until the point being played has ended before entering the court.

Ø  Must show valid SCSU Student or Faculty/Staff ID.

Ø  Only One Tennis Court will be set-up on court 2 in the fieldhouse.

Court Rules:

Ø  Appropriate shoes are required.

Ø  Side Curtains are recommended to be put down.

Ø  Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied on the court by an adult and must be a member.

Ø  When using racquetball courts, eye guards are strongly recommended.

Ø  Hitting or kicking the walls may be grounds for removal.

Ø  Inappropriate hitting of balls may be grounds for removal.
