BACKGROUND INFORMATION
The fieldhouse connects directly to the new SCSU Student Fitness Center, which opened in Jan. 2005. This facility houses a complete state-of-the-art fitness center, which includes numerous weight training machines, treadmills, exercise bikes and free weights. The facility has a three-story climbing wall and also has two large dance/aerobic studios. The fitness center will include office space for faculty and staff, along with areas for classrooms and storage.
The Fitness Center is available for SCSU Students/Faculty/Staff for a reasonable rate. The Rec Center also provides a wide range of Group Fitness Classes in 2 large Aerobic Studios that have a Robbins Biocushion-Wood Floor.
The Climbing Wall is free for SCSU Students and is open for the community to come and use. To reserve time on the Climbing Wall, please contact Outdoor Endeavors at 320.308.3772. They accommodate Birthday Parties!
The new fitness center and Husky Stadium are the newest components in an outstanding athletic facility at SCSU. They also help centralize the University's athletic facilities, as the main Halenbeck Hall gymnasium is connected to the fitness center and stadium, and the National Hockey Center is adjacent to the new facilities.

Reservation Information
For reservation of any sport facilities, you must fill out a Facility Request Form located on the tabs to the left or at the Member/Guest Services Desk at the Student Recreation Center. For reservations of racquetball courts call (320)308-3325. Courts can only be reserved for 1 hour per group for singles and doubles activities and up to 2 days in advance. All other facilities must be requested at least 7 days in advance.
