Background Information
Selke Fields are home for the St. Cloud State Intramural Leagues including Softball, Flag Football, and Soccer. You will also find SCSU’s Club Teams (Rugby, Lacrosse, and Ultimate Frisbee) use the fields as well for games and tournaments. The St. Cloud State University softball team plays all of its home games at the historic Selke Field softball complex on the campus of St. Cloud State University.
The facility features two team dugouts, bleacher-style seating, a batting cage, home and visitor bullpens along with seating for the media. The entire Selke Field complex is encircled by its trademark granite wall, which was constructed as part of the WPA program in the 1930s. The Selke Field complex also features intramural fields and a football field (which was home to Husky football for many seasons before the new Husky Stadium was opened next to Halenbeck Hall in 2004).
