Halenbeck Hall North

Halenbeck Hall is the University's main gymnasium and it is home to the SCSU men's and women's basketball teams, the volleyball team, the wrestling team, Intramural Sports, Minnesota State High School Basketball Playoffs, concerts, graduations, and other special events. 

The faciltiy provides the Huskies' with one of the premiere facilities in the Northern Sun Conference, and it provides seating for over 6,400 spectators.

Halenbeck Hall was completed and dedicated in 1965.  In the summer of 2001, a new wooden floor, arena seating, scoreboards and sound system were installed.  In addition to the main arena, it houses the Halenbeck Hall Aquatics Center, locker rooms, weight training facilities, classrooms, offices for coaches and staff, a complete computer lab, meeting space and the SCSU Athletic Hall of Fame. 

Halenbeck Hall is attached to the Halenbeck Hall South Fieldhouse, and it is also connected to the new SCSU Fitness Center and Husky Stadium.

The Halenbeck Hall Aquatic Center is home to the St. Cloud State University men's and women's swimming and diving teams and Community Swimming Lessons.  The Halenbeck Hall Aquatic Center features a six-lane pool and a diving well with one and three meter boards.  The facility also includes seating for 500 spectators, a complete sound system, aquatic center office and spacious locker areas.

Halenbeck Hall Fieldhouse

The Halenbeck Hall South Fieldhouse is home to the SCSU men's and women's track and field teams, Intramural Sports, Youth Basketball Programs, and other campus community events.  The facility was completed in 1980, and the major feature of the facility is an activity center and multiple purpose area surrounded by a 200-meter, six-lane running track.  A new floor was installed in the Summer of 2007.  The facility also houses six regulation size racquetball courts, a wrestling practice room and human performance laboratory.

In the main arena of the fieldhouse, there is space for basketball courts, tennis courts, badminton and volleyball on the all-purpose surface.  The Fieldhouse is used by Intramural Programs, Health and Physical Education Classes, and the Intercollegiate Track Team.  The track and field teams, have ample areas for to practice in the weight events, and there is also space for pole vaulting, the long jump, high jump and triple jump.

The wrestling team uses the fieldhouse as its main practice location.  A large wrestling room with padded floor and walls, is crowned by a list of SCSU athletes who have gained All-America honors during their collegiate career at SCSU. The room was recently renovated thanks to the generous support of several St. Cloud State wrestling benefactors. These additions include new floor mats, new wall mats and new banners saluting the tradition and history of the Husky wrestling program.
