Campus Recreation offers CPR and First Aid Classes to all SCSU Students, Faculty / Staff, and Community Members who need certification. CPR/AED for Lifeguards Recertification

Cost:	$45, includes all materials

This course is for those that hold a current Lifeguard certification and need to be recertified in CPR/AED and First Aid. The class is specifically designed for Lifeguards. If you have a current Lifeguard certification but your CPR/AED expired, you are still able to take the course. Registration Form (pdf)

CPR/AED for Community Members

Cost:	$60, includes all materials

Location:	Halenbeck Pool

In this course we will combine CPR and AED training to teach participants how to recognize and respond to emergency situations. The participant will learn Rescue Breathing, CPR and how to use an AED for Adults and Children. Upon successful completion of the course, each participant will receive a one-year American Red Cross certification in CPR/AED for Adult and Child.

Lifeguard Training

Cost:	$170, includes all materials

	March 5 - 9, 2012
Times:	9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Location:	Halenbeck Pool

This course is for those 15 years of age and older that would like to become certified as an American Red Cross Lifeguard.  Upon successful completion, each participant will receive a one-year Red Cross certification for CPR/AED for Lifeguards and three-year Red Cross certifications in Lifeguarding and First Aid.

Lifeguard Recertification

This recertification class is for anyone that has had their Lifeguard certification within the last four years (has been expired for no more than one year).  The course will include provide participants with a one-year Red Cross certification for CPR/AED for Lifeguards and three-year Red Cross certifications in Lifeguarding and First Aid.
