Campus Recreation offers CPR and First Aid Classes to all SCSU Students, Faculty / Staff, and Community Members who need certification. Please contact the Campus Recreation office with any questions or current class information at 320-308-3325 or e-mail the aquatics staff at email@example.com.

In this course we will combine CPR and AED training to teach participants how to recognize and respond to emergency situations. The participant will learn CPR and how to use an AED for Adults/Children/Infant. Participants will also learn basic First Aid for recognizing and responding to emergencies. Upon successful completion of the course, each participant will receive a two-year American Red Cross certification in CPR/AED/First Aid for Adults/Children/Infant.
*MUST attend both days.

This course is for those 15 years of age and older that would like to become certified as an American Red Cross Lifeguard. Upon successful completion, each participant will receive a one-year Red Cross certification for CPR/AED for Lifeguards and three-year Red Cross certifications in Lifeguarding and First Aid.

This recertification class is for anyone that has had their Lifeguard certification within the last four years (has been expired for no more than one year). The course will include provide participants with a one-year Red Cross certification for CPR/AED for Lifeguards and three-year Red Cross certifications in Lifeguarding and First Aid.
