Visitors may park in the following locations:

  • 4th Avenue Parking Ramp (Pay Lot)
  • Husky Pay Lot
  • Miller Pay Lot
  • South Pay Lot

St. Cloud State University is located at 720 4th Avenue South in St. Cloud, Minnesota, U.S.A.

Directions from:


I-94

  • Take Exit 171 into St. Cloud.
  • Follow Stearns County Road 75 for 3.5 miles.
  • Turn right at the intersection of County Road 75 and Cooper Avenue. This roadway becomes University Drive. Drive east on University Drive for about 14 blocks.
  • Turn left and drive north on Ninth Avenue South.
  • Go four blocks and turn right onto Sixth Street South.
  • Public parking is available in the 4th Avenue Parking Ramp, N lot (pay area) and the Miller Center. Please follow the signage posted in each lot.
  • Prospective Students - Proceed for two blocks until you come to a stop sign. On your right there will be a row of visitor parking across the street from the Performing Arts Center. (This row of parking is for Prospective Students only). Please park in any available designated visitor parking space and inquire with the Administrative Services Building Reception desk for availability of permits.

U.S. Highway 10

  • Exit west from U.S. Highway 10 to Highway 23.
  • Cross the Mississippi River on the Granite City Crossing Bridge.
  • Turn south on Fifth Avenue South.
  • Turn east on Sixth Street South.
  • Public parking is available in the 4th Avenue Parking Ramp, N lot (pay area) and the Miller Center. Please follow the signage posted in each lot.
  • Prospective Students - Turn left and proceed for one block to the stop sign. On your right is row of visitor parking spaces across the street from the Performing Arts Center. This row of parking is for prospective students only. Park in any available designated visitor parking space and inquire with the Administrative Services Building Reception desk for availability of permits.

From the west (Minnesota Highway 23)

  • Take Minnesota Highway 23 into St. Cloud.
  • At the Highway 23/Minnesota Highway 15 intersection drive straight ahead on 2nd Street South.
  • Drive about 1.4 miles east as 2nd Street South becomes Roosevelt Road/Stearns County Road 75.
  • At the intersection with Cooper Avenue South, turn left.
  • Cooper Avenue quickly empties into University Drive. Drive about 14 blocks east on University Drive.
  • Turn left at the intersection of University Drive and 9th Avenue South.
  • Drive four blocks north on Ninth Avenue and then turn right on 6th Street South.
  • Drive five blocks east. The 4th Avenue Parking Ramp will be on your left. The Miller Center lot will be on your right. See the Parking portion of the Campus Map for other parking options.
  • Prospective Students:  Park in the visitor parking stalls west of the Performing Arts Center. Then ask at the Administrative Services Building reception desk for a permit.

From the east (Minnesota Highway 23)

  • Follow Minnesota Highway 23 into St. Cloud.
  • Cross the Mississippi River on the Granite City Crossing Bridge.
