Minnesota Campus Compact

Minnesota Campus Compact supports civic engagement and democratic renewal through its diverse network of colleges and universities. While campuses’ civic work and partnerships vary based on the different priorities, cultures, and assets of communities and institutions around the state, through this coalition, Minnesota Campus Compact works towards several common goals:

  • promoting the success of Minnesota’s increasingly diverse students;
  • advancing the kinds of community-engaged learning that develop the knowledge, skills, creativity, courage, and persistence critical for work, life, and citizenship; and
  • developing innovate collaborations that advance educational and economic opportunity, environmental sustainability, public health, and other social goods.

SCAVC (St. Cloud Area Volunteer Coordinators)

SCAVC is a non-profit organization committed to building the profession of volunteer management and promoting volunteerism. Membership is composed of people from community organizations and agencies in the greater St. Cloud area who recruit and support volunteers Through community collaborations and educational events, SCAVC is working to expand the impact of volunteerism in the St. Cloud Area.

MAVA (Minnesota Association for Volunteer Administration)

MAVA is the largest professional membership association for leaders of volunteers in the state of Minnesota. MAVA unites administrators of structured volunteer programs as well as those who have an interest in promoting volunteerism across the state. Through its advocacy efforts, MAVA provides a respected, energetic voice for volunteerism across Minnesota.

Members of MAVA represent all sectors of society: faith communities, health care, social service, education, government, grassroots organizations and more. MAVA provides a forum and directory for members to network and to learn from each other.
