The Conway, Deuth & Schmiesing, PLLP Building Hope Scholarship was established in conjunction with Central Minnesota Habitat for Humanity (CMHFH) to give a student the opportunity to provide meaningful volunteer services to fulfill needed activities for Central Minnesota Habitat for Humanity. The scholarship recipient earns $1,000 by providing 100 hours of service to Central MN Habitat for Humanity (CMHFH).
Conway, Deuth & Schmiesing, PLLP was founded in 1985 by Richard Conway, Roger Deuth and Milan Schmiesing, each sharing a common goal of helping their clients reach their maximum potential. The firm grew based on the highest standards and ethics of the accounting profession. Today, CDS remains committed to these same principles. In recent years Conway, Deuth & Schmiesing merged with Michael A. Johnson, Ltd., CPAs in St. Cloud, MN.
Central Minnesota Habitat for Humanity partners with organizations, individuals, and selected homeowner families to build safe, simple, affordable housing for families in need in the community. Partner families purchase the homes with a no-interest mortgage. As of December 2001, Central MN Habitat for Humanity has served 73 families. Each year, more families are served and the need for community involvement increases. As a non-profit organization, Habitat depends on volunteers. Having volunteers that keep coming back helps increase efficiency in Habitat’s work.
