Civic Engagement Program at St. Cloud State University
Mission
The Department of Campus Involvement's Civic Engagement Program is St. Cloud State University's community service center. Our mission is to provide students the opportunity to develop leadership skills, a sense of belonging, and civic responsibility through involvement in meaningful service. We strive to promote reciprocal service that benefits both the individual and the community.
The Civic Engagement Program:
- Helps organize volunteer opportunities
- Serves as a clearinghouse of service information
- Works to promote academic service-learning
- Strives to build strong relations between SCSU
and the larger St. Cloud communities
