The University Program Board is the programming entity at St. Cloud State University.  The organization has many employment opportunities available to undergraduate and graduate students.   Below you will find information regarding various positions within UPB.

Graduate Assistantships

Office Assistants / Graphic Designers

The University Program Board employs approximately seven (7) student workers, primarily work-study students, who serve as Office Assistants.   Their basic function is to assist with office needs, such as answering the phone, greeting guests, answer questions regarding events, and graphic designers.  UPB has a full graphic design studio that is used to create all publicity for events that are planned.  All publicity is designed/created in-house, with the exception of printing needs.   Graphic Designers have the opportunity to use and learn the following software programs:  Adobe Photoshop CS, Adobe Illustrator CS, QuarkXPress, and others.  For information about office assistants and graphic designers, please contact Irene Bruemmer, UPB Office Manager.  320.308.2205

Student Event Programmers / Board Members

UPB employs 9 student programmers who coordinate the nine programming committees of UPB, and 4 others that serve as the Executive Board.    These students are given their positions based on a selection process that occurs in February of each year.  Board members serve one year terms.  Selection information and board member list.
