Committees
UPB is currently comprised of eight programming committees, all of which are open to any SCSU student! If you are interested in joining or helping with an event, click on the committee name and then contact the coordinator. It's easy to get involved, just show up at our meetings and give us your input! Click on the committee names below for more information about the committee and their upcoming events.

Films
Responsible for scheduling weekly film series shown for free in the Atwood Theatre.
The committee is responsible for programming the weekend “Atwood After Dark” and “Halenbeck After Dark” series. These events include, but are not limited to, novelty activities, showcasing performers, crafts and food.
The committee is responsible for programming a variety of late-night events such as Late Skate, the Comedy Series and Dance Parties.
Husky Pride and Spirit
This committee is responsible for planning and implementing a variety of events in collaboration with others that build community, foster campus spirit and promote SCSU Pride.
Husky Talent
This committee is responsible for programming events that highlight the talents of SCSU students and the greater community and showcase "husky" talent.
Live Music
This committee is responsible for bringing regionally or nationally recognized musical artists to campus.
National Events
Responsible for programming a diverse schedule of nationally and internationally recognized speakers.
Performing Arts
Responsible for programming a variety of dance, theatre, music, and spoken word events with the goal of providing educational, diverse, and entertaining performances.
Visual Arts
Responsible for curating art exhibits in the Atwood Art Gallery and the Atwood Ballroom Display Cases.
Executive Board
The Executive Board is comprised of the President and three Vice Presidents responsible for the overall function of the organization.
Summer Programming
UPB plans several events and activities for SCSU students during the summer months. The Lemonade Concert and Art Fair is a large-scale annual event that happens in June.
