2013 Student Organization Awards

The University presents awards to recognize many of the outstanding contributions that student organizations, leaders and their advisors have made to our campus and St. Cloud community. Nominations are collected all year and awards will be presented in April annually. Students, faculty or staff may submit nominations or can nominate themselves. The deadline to submit nominations for 2012-2013 awards is February 29, 2013.

Group Awards

• Outstanding Collaboration (an effort to work with others on or off campus)
• Outstanding Community Building (an effort to connect students, staff, faculty, and/or community)
• Outstanding Educational Program (a program with the purpose of educating participants)
• Outstanding Spirit/Husky Pride Initiative (an initiative that encourages spirit/husky pride)
• Outstanding Diversity Initiative (an initiative that promotes, celebrates, or educates about diversity)
• Outstanding New Program (a new program this year)
• Outstanding Service Project (a service project on or off campus)
• Outstanding Cultural Program (a program that focuses on one or more cultures)
• Outstanding Career Component (a part of an organization that builds career skills or a career focused program)
• Outstanding Student Organization (overall a successful, engaged student organization)

Individual Awards

• Outstanding Officer (an officer that greatly adds to the success of the organization)
• Outstanding Member (a member that greatly adds to the success of the organization)
• Outstanding Advisor (an advisor that greatly adds to the success of the organization)
• Outstanding Ally (a person or group of people on or off campus that is supportive to student organizations)
