This year we have the privilege of co-chairing the Faculty-Staff Campaign. Our theme for this year’s campaign is Changing Students’ Lives. Our goal is to increase participation to 35% by faculty and staff members. Join us in support of students by making a gift to the 2009 Faculty-Staff Campaign.
A college degree is a long and expensive journey but it is a relief to know that there are people out there who are willing to help. Even the smallest amount of encouragement can be extremely powerful and influential, and I have now done things that I would never have imagined doing as little as 5 years ago. More than anything, the scholarship I received helped me build confidence for my transition into the workforce and I hope to one day contribute my own money to help another student obtain his or her dreams.
