"I am excited to serve as co-chair of this year's university campaign. The foundation has greatly enhanced my ability to serve students and the community and I believe as
co-chair I can support this important mission. The gifts contributed to the foundation allow for scholarships, unique learning opportunities, greater community connectedness, and most importantly enrich the education and success of our students. I welcome my colleagues to explore the many different ways the foundation has its impact on our students, faculty, staff, and community. Please join me in this important endeavor."

"I eagerly accepted the invitation to co-chair this year's University Campaign because I believe it is important to give back to the community that has given so much to me.
The programs that are funded as a result of the dollars that we raise in this campaign - from student scholarships to programs that allow us to foster greater partnerships with the community - improve our ability as faculty and staff to do our work, thereby strengthening our campus community. I invite my colleagues to give any amount that they can to the program or programs that are meaningful to them. It is an amazingly simple way to have a positive impact."

We have an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of so many students who are themselves eager to make a transformational difference in the world.  We give because, in doing so, we contribute to creating a community of people united in their cause to reach out to others in need.  We invite every member of the university community to join us in support of our 2011 Campaign.

"Having invested so much of our lives in St. Cloud State, my wife Bev and I joke that the university is our "third child." As a former faculty member, IFO president and state legislator I have experienced firsthand the importance of investing in the future of our university through our giving, whether it's an annual gift or through our estate. Participating in the University Campaign is a meaningful way to help students today and impact the future of higher education. Would you please help! Thank you for your support."
