Histological Laboratory
The
Histological Laboratory (Drs. Schrank and Schoenfuss) is fully equipped
for all standard histological techniques and produces research quality light
microscopy sections. Three
microtome and one ultra-microtome stations allow for fast processing
of all biological specimens. A dedicated staining and digital
processing station complete the self-contained facility that serves
both student education (Histology BIOL 364 and Histological Techniques,
BIOL 490) and research needs (Aquatic Toxicology Laboratory).
