Herbarium
The Herbarium is a significant research and teaching resource that serves the public, academic, and professional communities. It provides an important source for identification of plant specimens as well as training in plant taxonomy.
The plant collection (30,000 specimens) is especially strong in Central Minnesota counties holdings dating from 1800s to the present. Currently, a bibliographic and an online database are being developed to make the wealth of information contained in our collections more readily and widely available.
