National Center for Academic Excellence in
Information Assurance Education (CAEIAE)
St. Cloud State University has been designated a National Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance Education (CAEIAE), 2009-2014, by the National Security Agency (NSA). The title makes St. Cloud State one of only 94 institutions of CAEIAE status in the nation, while recognizing the university's commitment to excellence in information assurance.
CAEIAE, which is sponsored by NSA and the Department of Homeland Security, aims to reduce vulnerability in the national information infrastructure by promoting higher education and research in information assurance, while increasing the number of experts in the field.
