The Underground is a student fee supported activity center located on the campus of SCSU in the lower level of Atwood Memorial Center across from WOW. The Underground facility offers 8 bowling lanes , 8 billiards tables, 3 table tennis tables, 2 foosball games, darts, bubble hockey, a Wii gaming system, and a $.25 arcade!

The Underground is open daily providing students an opportunity to relax and have fun during the day. The Underground is open late Thursday thru Saturday giving student’s added time for entertainment.

Leagues and Tournaments are offered throughout the semester for people interested in having fun while competing for prizes and meeting other participants. Additionally, The Underground organizes specific tournaments in each bowling, billiards, and table tennis. Winners of these tournaments may be sent as representatives of SCSU to the regional ACUI tournament in the spring. Players than compete for an opportunity to advance to the national tournament!

For students planning on using the facility throughout the semester The Underground offers pass programs. With a pass, students only need to have an SCSU ID to use The Underground, avoiding the hassle of carrying money everyday!

Parking

Parking is available at the 4th Avenue Parking Ramp, the south pay lot, and on some city streets (restrictions are posted). Use link below for locations. Parking arrangements can be made with the Public Safety Department by calling 320-308-3453, or by visiting their office located at 516 4th Avenue S. Off campus guests can expect to pay $1.00/hour (maximum of $8.00 a day) in the parking ramp or plan to use the south pay lot. Employee lots, pay lots, and commuter student lots are free after 7:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, after 3:00 p.m. on Friday and for the entire weekend.(Note: any SCSU parking space with individual signs are ticketed 24 hours a day). Student Resident Lots (Yellow "A" and "E" lot signs) are free after 3:00 p.m. on Friday through Sunday at 3:00 p.m. http://www.stcloudstate.edu/campusmap/.
