Third Annual First Pitch Banquet & Fundraiser
Slated for Jan. 16, 2010 at the Kelly Inn in St. Cloud
The 2010 1st Pitch Baseball Banquet is slated for Saturday, January 16, 2010 at the Kelly Inn in St. Cloud.
At this event, former St. Cloud State head coach Denny Lorsung will be honored for his contributions to the University and the 
SCSU baseball program. Lorsung played college baseball for the Huskies and later served as head coach for the SCSU baseball team from 1979 to 2006. He owns the school's record for most career wins at 546.
The evening will include a social hour, live and silent auction, 5-star dinner and a guest speaker along with the salute to Coach Lorsung with members of the 1970, 1980, 1990 and 2000 Husky teams providing stories of Skip’s meaning to Husky baseball

Welcome to the Husky Dugout Club Home Page
St. Cloud State University fans can help support the Husky baseball team by joining the Husky Dugout Club. Your support will help the Huskies compete with the best Division II baseball programs in the country. The Dugout Club will be very instrumental in a number of endeavors that benefit the Huskies. A few of these are mentioned below:
- Sponsoring the annual John Berling/Goldleaf Plastics Husky Baseball Golf Tournament.
- Hosting pre-game tailgate events for Dugout Club members.
- Sponsoring noon lunches and evening socials for Dugout Club members throughout the year.
- To establish an extensive database of former SCSU players and friends of Husky Baseball and corporate and individual sponsors and to enhance communication with these parties in order to promote Husky Baseball.
- To educate and inform selected local, state and national high school and junior college coaches of the benefits of being a baseball program student/athlete at SCSU.
- To assist baseball players in transitioning after graduation to a selected profession or onto professional baseball.
The Board of Director's number one goal is to have Husky baseball parents, Husky baseball alumni and Husky baseball boosters join in the excitement and camaraderie of Husky baseball.
The proceeds, as designed in our by-laws, will go directly to the operations of the baseball program. There are a number of projects that we need financial help with to update our program and we feel this club can help give us the funds to keep our program competitive in the NSIC and at the NCAA Division II level.
We are asking for your contribution to support our ability to remain competitive with the best Division II baseball programs in the country. We thank you for your support and hope that you will follow the exciting Husky baseball season.

We are excited to be entering our third year of the Husky Dugout Club. It’s an exciting time to be involved with the SCSU Husky baseball program!
The Huskies are once again primed to be a strong competitor in the very competitive Northern Sun Intercolligiate Conference.
We are asking for your contribution to support our ability to remain competitive with the best NCAA Division II baseball programs in the country. We thank you for your support and hope that you will follow the exciting Husky baseball season of 2009-10
