St Cloud MN- The 4^th Annual Husky Fall Wrestling Clinic was a success this past weekend on the campus of St Cloud State University. Over 50 participants, coaches, and parents were there in attendance during the one day event on Saturday, October 31 in the Halenbeck Hall Field House.

The National Wrestling Coaches Association Board of Directors is pleased to announce that the 2010 NWCA/Cliff Keen National Duals will be Presented by Hibiclens. The two day tournament will be held January 9-10, 2010, at the University of Northern Iowa. St. Cloud State has been selected as a participant in this elite event at UNI.

WRESTLING: Huskies Ranked 8th in DII Preseason Poll

EDMOND, Okla. -- Defending NCAA Division II national champion Nebraska-Omaha is the unanimous pick to retain its title in 2010, according to the preseason poll released Wednesday by the NCAA Division II Wrestling Coaches Association. St. Cloud State University, which placed eighth in the nation at the NCAA Division II championships in 2009, has been picked eighth in the 2010 preseason poll.

WRESTLING: Fall Clinic Offered at SCSU on Oct. 31

St. Cloud State University will offer its annual Husky Fall Wrestling Clinic on Saturday, Oct. 31. The clinic is open to all youth wrestlers in grades 1-12, and it will be held in the University's Halenbeck Hall Fieldhouse from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The day of wrestling will feature an appearance by guest clinician Jared Lawrence, a former NCAA Division I champion and member of Team USA Wrestling.

WRESTLING: Huskies Help Clean Mississippi River at SCSU

For the 3^rd year in a row the St. Cloud State University wrestling team volunteered to lend a hand with the Mississippi River Clean-up, which is sponsored by the St. Cloud State University Outdoor Endeavors program. This year, 35 Husky wrestlers participated in the clean-up. Once again the wrestling team dominated the river clean-up effort by representing more than 75% of the total participants.
