2009-10: Munkelwitz went 30-9 at 197-pounds in 2009-10...a 2010 NCAA tournament qualifer...placed 2nd at 2010 NCAA regional at 197-pounds...grabbed 1st place finishes at Cobber and Husky Opens in 2009-10...All-NSIC Second Team Selection...2010 Iron Man team award winner at SCSU.

2007-08: Had a productive year wrestling unattached, going 16-6 on the season with one fall…had two second place finishes at the Worthington and Jamestown Opens…he placed third at the Cobber Open, fourth at the Dragon Open and third at the North Country Open…
HIGH SCHOOL: Comes to SCSU as a 2007 grad of Forest Lake High School…he was a state champion and two-time state place winner…he was a Junior Greco Roman All-American…he was also named to the Wrestling USA Scholastic All-America Team…was a solid 97-18 over his high school career…
PERSONAL: The son of Mark and Julie Munkelwitz…he enjoys hunting and water sports… majoring in criminal justice.
