High School: Kontz comes to SCSU from Canby High School…he was a two-time state place winner including a runner-up finish in his senior year…earned all-state academic honors…he amassed a career mark of 196-59…all-time career wins leader at Canby High School.
PERSONAL: He is the son of Gary and Cheryl Kontz…enjoys flying planes, fishing and hunting in his spare time…business management major.
