HUSKY RECORD: St. Cloud State volleyball is 6-18 overall and

FIRST FOR BUSKIRK: First year middle hitter Justine Buskirk (Papillion, Neb.) made her first NSIC appearance in the Cardinal and Black this past weekend, playing against Minnesota State University, Mankato.
LUNDE LEADS: Alecia Lunde (East Bethel), SCSU’s junior red-shirt outside hitter, led the squad with 14 kills in two matches played this past weekend against SMSU and MSU.
NEED A SET: SCSU has not won a set since Sept. 26, when the
Huskies defeated Minnesota, Crookston in a 3-2 match victory. To view SCSU's results from the 2009 season, click here.
UP NEXT FOR SCSU: The Huskies look to get back on the winning track and snap a six-match slide as they continue road action on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 23-24, with league matches at University of Mary (Oct. 23-7 pm) and Northern State (Oct. 24-3 pm).

HUSKIES DIG PINK IN OCTOBER: The month of October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month! The St. Cloud State volleyball team is asking fans, family and friends to rally together to raise money for Breast Cancer Awareness. At all the home matches in October (Oct. 9, 10, 30, 31), Husky volleyball will be selling DIG PINK T-SHIRTS at the doors for $10 and will also be taking pledges to KILL CANCER. Individuals can pledge as much as they desire for each kill the Huskies have during that match. All proceeds will be donated to the 2009 Dig Pink Rally Fund Raising Effort through the Side-Out Foundation (www.side-out.org).
