VOLLEYBALL: Huskies Plan To Dig Pink At All October Home Matches
Tuesday, October 20, 2009
Husky Volleyball Digs Pink! |
DIG PINK! The month of October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month!
The St. Cloud State volleyball team is asking fans, family and friends to rally together to raise money for Breast Cancer Awareness. At all the home matches in October (Oct. 9, 10, 30, 31), Husky volleyball will be selling DIG PINK T-SHIRTS at the doors for $10 and will also be taking pledges to KILL CANCER. Individuals can pledge as much as they desire for each kill the Huskies have during that match.
All proceeds will be donated to the 2009 Dig Pink Rally Fund Raising Effort through the Side-Out Foundation (www.side-out.org).
Dig Pink is a Breast Cancer Awareness Rally being held all of October to raise awareness and funds. Every year we want to make a statement by holding hundreds, potentially thousands, of featured High School and College matches across the country to help educate and raise funds to eradicate this terrible disease. Proceeds will go towards doing something significant and identifiable in the fight against Breast Cancer.
